The Anchored Son wasn’t built because I had life figured out.
It was built because I didn’t. It came from seasons of failure,
crying out to God, growth, and learning what it means to anchor
my life in Christ when everything around me felt uncertain.
If something you’ve read has encouraged you, challenged you,

A Personal Note

In 2021, it seemed like life was falling apart. Everything that was important to me was unraveling before my eyes. I began to realize that my anchor was not in Jesus, but in all the things. As I looked around, I didn’t see many men modeling what I saw God doing in me, and culture certainly was no help.
The Anchored Son started from my own journey of learning what it means to build my life on something, more specifically someone, that doesn’t move. I’m not a coach, counselor, or someone who has everything figured out. I’m a man, disciple of Christ, husband, and father, learning the same lessons many men are wrestling through every day.
You don’t have to have the perfect words, the perfect plan, or the perfect past. Just start where you are.
